Therapeutic Approach

I believe we are all created for connection in relationship, and that all relationships have the potential to bring great joy and great struggle. Through our therapeutic relationship, by addressing the concerns that bring you to therapy, a process occurs that produces healing, transformation, and growth. My approach to counseling varies, but is rooted in trauma-informed, relational psychotherapy, focusing on key attachment relationships, and exploring the moments, social and cultural constructs, and ideologies that have shaped you.

I work with women around the issues of trauma and abuse, DV, anxiety, grief, loss, and life transitions. I specialize in helping women find their voice, and grow to understand and trust their intuition. I am passionate about women’s rights and anti-racist work. I take seriously the commitment to be a lifelong learner, investing in my own healing and ongoing anti-oppression work. I received my MA in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology, and have completed Certificate and Externship trauma training at The Allender Center, as well as Level 1 Lifespan Integration training.

Having traveled a long road to healing myself, I deeply value the process of therapy. I consider it an honor to work with others on their journey of becoming more fully and freely themselves. I engage clients with integrity, curiosity, and listen in a compassionate, nonjudgmental manner.

I best support women dealing with
