I enjoy working with adults around many issues including life transitions, anxiety, depression, and family and relationship problems. I utilize EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy), Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Gottman skills, among other modalities, to help clients move through the stuck places to a more resilient approach to life.
Therapeutic Approach
My approach is client-centered. I believe my clients have the wisdom within themselves to participate and succeed in their own healing and transformation. I am grateful to be known for my compassion, warmth, and wisdom in my working fields. Prior to practicing counseling, I worked as a lawyer in the areas of family law and civil litigation.
Education and Clinical Experience
The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology
Seattle University School of Law
Personal Interests
I actively continue to grow in my work, attending legal and mental health trainings, as well as reading relevant literature to enhance my areas of knowledge. I am a rare native to Seattle and relish activity in the mountains and on the beach.
