About Me
I have been working in the counseling field for 16 years, starting in the addiction and behavioral field. I have worked in multiple modalities and enjoy walking with others in their journey of healing and self-exploration. I practice the skills I teach in my personal life. I enjoy; yoga, sound baths and somatic breathing, I enjoy outdoor activities, along with spending time with my daughter, grandson, and son-in-law, or just spending time at home gives me peace and balance in life.
Therapeutic Approach
I maintain a holistic approach to counseling, prioritizing healing and restoration of emotional, physical, and mental balance for inner growth and reflection.
I bring a compassionate, humanistic approach to counseling, maintaining an empathic, understanding presence while implementing a reality-based, solution-focused therapy approach. I specialize in co-occurring disorders, providing support for those living with depression, anxiety, complex trauma, and severe mental health diagnoses.
My counseling style is a holistic view through an integrative approach between mind, body and spirit. My focus is on making each session deeply personalized, empowering.
I use evidence-based practices through Mindfulness skills, DBT, RET CBT and Seeking Safety skills. I bring wisdom from personal life experiences, creating a safe space for self-exploration and navigating through life’s challenges to discover lasting solutions and skills supportive of healing and growth, while taking meaningful steps forward.
