Therapeutic Approach
My work is grounded in the belief that we each have a deep sense of knowing.
Accessing personal knowing through self-awareness can create space for healing. It
can also enable the formation of coping mechanisms which may create a sense of relief and a path to wellness.
My mission is to connect with you wherever you are on your path. Coming from a
background of chiropractic and horticultural therapy, I believe connection plays a
valuable role within our bodies and minds as well as with others and the world around
us. Healing happens in connection.
Area of Focus
I have had the opportunity to work with adolescents and adults in a multitude of
settings. My therapeutic skills are centered in Person-Centered, strength-based, and
trauma-informed approaches. I utilize evidence-based practices: EMDR, CBT, and DBT. I also incorporate self-compassion, Polyvagal Theory, and mindfulness strategies.
I come from a place of empathy and respect to help support people who are
struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship issues, grief, and other human conditions. I work with individuals, couples, and families. My mission is to help
people heal, grow, and foster resilience.
I look forward to partnering with you at your pace, so you don’t have to shoulder this
alone.
