About Me
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate in the State of Washington. I received my Bachelor of Arts from Central Washington University with a focus in Sociology and Family Studies. I obtained my Masters of Education in Community Counseling from Seattle University. I am passionate about working with individuals and families who are looking for help with healing due to abuse or trauma. I offer clients a safe space to process thoughts, feelings and form a deeper understanding to symptoms which they are trying to cope with. Through the therapy process we will form an alliance to process the fears and feelings which can often be overwhelming. For over nine years, I have been working in the social service field. I have worked in various settings such as clinics, agencies, shelters and schools. I was raised in a multicultural home, due to this I am able to provide therapy services in the English, Spanish or Polish language. I specialize in working with adults, teens (13-19) and families.
I am an affiliate of NorthWest Family Life due to their mission having a deep meaning for me due to being a survivor of Domestic Violence. I understand the shame and stigma which individuals that have endured such trauma often struggle with. I am passionate about aiding individuals that have gone through various forms of crisis and helping them overcome the fears which have confined them. I value multiculturalism, diversity, equity and social justice. My practice is directly aligned to help increase client’s voices in order to self-advocate. Together we will work to increase your resiliency in order to not be defined by your trauma and give you the opportunity to rewrite your story
