My Story

Across widely varying clients with diverse concerns, the common thread in my therapeutic work is cultivating an innate ability to be present with oneself. In therapy, we pay particular attention and care to the innate strengths and weaknesses used to engage occurrences of suffering and, at times a surprising and unique Self. Using this perspective, we will, together, address what is bothering you.

As a professional support figure, I utilize current, evidence-based practices informed by depth psychology. Ranging from coping skills and art therapy, to dream work and imaginal exercises together we will tailor a treatment taking into account your personality, goals and experiences.

An important step towards feeling better is the first one-facing your emotional distress is a daunting hurdle! It’s the gateway and starting point on the road to relief. For that step and the effort it took, I commend you. If you’d like to take more, reach out and let’s start working!

I graduated with my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology at The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology in 2012, after completing a clinical internship working with adolescents, and families.  I worked for three years at Sound Mental Health with adult individuals who are involved in the criminal justice system and probation.  My work there focused on issues of trauma, mood disorders, and issues of addiction.

In my personal life I am a singer and musician, certified yoga instructor, and cycling enthusiast.  I believe in holistic health, and in practicing what I preach by developing a mindful, balanced lifestyle.
