Kimberly McMartinMA, LMHC
Kimberly works from a client-centered perspective, meeting clients where they are at and holding each individual’s experience as valid. Using mindfulness techniques and Cognitive Behavioral therapy, clients are supported in a safe environment in which deep and lasting change can occur.
Over the past several years, Kimberly has worked with clients of diverse backgrounds on a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, trauma, and life transitions. Kimberly also specializes in eating and weight-related issues such as emotional eating, poor body image, eating disorders and other unhealthy ways of relating to food and one’s body.
Kimberly completed her Masters of Art in Counseling Psychology at City University of Seattle and graduated in 2009. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LH60435725) in the state of Washington. Kimberly welcomes adult and adolescent clients and is a preferred provider for most major insurance companies.
In her time off, Kimberly loves to run and do other fitness-related activities—she is a big believer in using physical activity to promote mental and emotional well-being. She also enjoys traveling, reading, attending professional trainings (geek!) and spending time with family and friends
