Therapeutic approach

I value the client as an expert in his / herself, and seek to come alongside clients as a fellow journeyer. I believe that the therapeutic relationship provides a safe space for clients to explore the obstacles they are experiencing, try out and develop new skills, and to help them feel more equipped as they continue living out the story of their life. In counseling sessions, I provide holistic care based primarily out of a cognitive behavioral approach to allow clients to safely examine how his/her behavior, thoughts, emotions, and spiritual beliefs impact their presenting concerns.
