Elizabeth is a licensed Mental Health Counselor and Art Therapist. She earned her MA Psychology Degree from Antioch University Seattle. Elizabeth has over 15 years of experience in helping clients who are experiencing depression, anxiety/stress; life transitions and change; and medical issues/concerns.
She also has experience with grief & loss (bereavement); death & dying, and post-traumatic symptoms. Elizabeth brings a great deal of life experience and training to assist those in need. Her experience includes working with individuals facing the challenges of a variety of mental health issues.
She has counseled individuals from diverse populations, including those with thought disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma disorders, suicidal thoughts, or medical issues. As a cancer survivor, Elizabeth has particular interest in helping others to live a fulfilling, passionate, and inspiring life.
Elizabeth’s practice modality is primarily cognitive-behavioral and person centered therapy. She treats clients holistically, using a biopsychosocial approach to create desired change, recognizing the mind-body connection. As such, it is important to consider the whole person, and she may suggest collaboration with other healthcare providers.
She offers clients effective tools to enhance their relationships, release self limiting behaviors, cope with life’s difficult transitions and create positive, lasting change in their lives. She provides a safe, confidential environment which allows her clients to explore their thoughts and feelings and to clarify their own desires and find meaning in their lives. Elizabeth takes insurance and is in network with multiple insurance companies.
