Therapeutic Approach

“If only we could see through other people’s eyes, we might understand each other’s

hearts”

Debbie believes the process of therapy can be a transforming experience, and offers her clients an inviting, respectful and reflective place to discuss their life issues. Since counseling is a personal process, she and her clients work together to understand their concerns and seek healthy changes. Debbie’s style is relational and draws from many different therapeutic strategies and theories, depending on the client’s needs (Psychodynamic, Attachment, Interpersonal Process, Dialectical Behavior (DBT), Cognitive Behavior (CBT), Family Systems, Object Relations, Existential, Narrative, and Solution Focused Therapy).  Sessions will be safe, open and honest, focusing on reality while pursuing healing and hope.
