Therapeutic Approach

I have been trained & specialize long-term, depth-oriented psychotherapy for individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, relational issues, anger management, burnout, self-esteem issues, & grief. My particular work consists in an integrated framework of client-centered, existential, & relational psychotherapies. I believe in the inherent value & worth of every individual. I often think of Mary Oliver’s words to her poem, The Summer Day. “Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?”

Education and Clinical Experience

I received my BA in Psychology from Northwest University in Kirkland, WA & my Masters in Counseling from The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology. I completed my clinical internship with Westminster Counseling Services in Bellevue, WA. My work has centered on persons experiencing life and faith crises, as well as transitional experiences. Prior to being in private practice, I worked as a technician for Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation clients experiencing treatment resistant depression, suicidal ideation, and anxiety.
